78 Power of Corporation to prescribe rules

The Corporation may prescribe rules relating to the following matters:

(a) regulating PR1MA development and PR1MA complexes including matters relating to the owners or tenants of PR1MA homes and persons approved by the Corporation under section 34;

(b) matters relating to the provision of information to the Corporation and the level of detail, interval, manner and form in which such information is to be provided;

(c) the procedures and methods of allocation of PR1MA homes to eligible persons pursuant to section 33;

(d) the criteria to be met by any person who wants to participate in PR1MA development;

(e) any fees which may be prescribed under this Act;

(f) the form of applications, notifications and notices to be made under this Act; and

(g) any matter for which this Act makes an express provision for the Corporation to prescribe.

79 Penalties for regulations and rules

(1) The regulations prescribed under section 77 may provide for any act or omission in contravention of the regulations to be an offence and may provide for penalties of a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.

(2) The rules prescribed under section 78 may provide for any act or omission in contravention of the rules to be an offence and may provide for penalties of a fine not exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

80 Power of Minister to amend Schedule

The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule.

81 Things done in anticipation of the enactment of this Act

All acts and things done on behalf of the Corporation in preparation for or in anticipation of the enactment of this Act and any expenditure incurred in relation thereto shall be deemed to have been authorized under this Act, provided that the acts and things done are consistent with the general intention and purposes of this Act, and all rights and obligations acquired or incurred as a result of the doing of those acts or things including any expenditure incurred in relation thereto shall upon the coming into operation of this Act be deemed to be the rights and obligations of the Corporation.
