What are the Malaysian passport fees and charges?

A standard 50-page first five-year passport or renewal costs RM200.

Two-year passport is no longer available effective 15 January 2015.

Senior citizen (over 60 years old) passport RM100
Student (under 21 years old) passport RM100
Haj Pilgrim passport RM100
Passport for Disabled (OKU) Free

For student passport, applicant must be below 21 years old and pursuing studies at an institute of higher education abroad should submit the following supporting documents:
  • Offer letter from college or university, scholarship offer letter or sponsorship;
  • Receipt of registration fee; and
  • Matrix student card (if you are studying).

For Haj Pilgrim passport, proof from Tabung Haji (TH) or its authorised agency is required.

For disabled applicant, you are required to attach the OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya) Card issued by the Social Welfare Department.

A restricted passport for Malaysian residing in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan traveling to Brunei costs:
  • RM50 (5-year validity)
