International Islamic University (IIU) Malaysia
Officially established on May 10, 1983 by the Malaysian Government and co-sponsored by several countries from the Organizations of Islamic Conference (O.I.C). Also known as the Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA) in Malay term. IIUM's main campus is located in Gombak, Selangor. It has 3 other campuses - Kuantan Campus, International of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) KL and Centre for Foundation Studies PJ. IIUM is the only Islamic university that uses English as its medium of instruction and administration. Non-Muslim students are admitted too. IIUM offers certificate, bachelor, master and doctorate degrees in law, science, education, economics and management science, engineering, architecture and environmental design, information communication and technology, Islamic revealed knowledge and human science, allied health science, medicine, pharmacy, nursing and dentistry. It also offers special language programme and pre-university academic programme.
