Darul Quran (JAKIM)

An institute of al-Quran studies in Malaysia. Established in 1966 as Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Wal-Qiraat, a unit in the Islamic Affairs Division, Prime Minsiter's Department. In 1997 Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Wal-Qiraat was upgraded as a division under the Islamic Development Department Malaysia (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia-JAKIM) and renamed Darul Quran. The Darul Quran official website features new student intake, guidebook and forms; and DQ album and corporate video.
