Double-Tongued Dictionary

Started in 1999, the Double-Tongued Dictionary records undocumented or under-documented words from the fringes of English, with a focus on slang, jargon and new words. The Dictionary strives to record terms and expressions that are absent from, or are poorly covered in, mainstream dictionaries. While it is not the intention of the editor to prefer one English over another, the Double-Tongued Dictionary offers more words of American origin or usage due to the American centric nature of the source materials the editor uses.
