The Habitat Penang Hill is an ecotourism site located on the island of Penang, Malaysia, covering an area of 10 acres. It promotes the natural beauty of the pristine rain forest, granite boulders and flora and fauna of Penang Hill.

The Habitat Penang Hill aims to promote environmental consciousness and conservation awareness tourism.
Ecologically sound and environmentally friendly methods such as solar and water harvesting technologies are employed in the development and implementation of The Habitat project. It has a "no single use plastic water bottle" policy -- you can bring your own or buy reusable stainless steel bottles to refill at many water stations along the pathway.
Habitats within the park include Giant Pandan, Ru Bukit, Damar Minyak (conifer tree).
Wildlife animals that reside within the park include the Giant Black Squirrel and Dusky Leaf Langur. Other species of fauna that can be spotted in the park are Paper Kite Butterfly, Black Giant Millipede and birds which include Racket-tailed Drongo and Asian Fairy-bluebird.
The Habitat's pathway and buildings are designed to be accessible for the physically disabled particularly wheelchair users.
Attractions of The Habitat Penang Hill include:
2.5m wide and 1.6km long route. Various trails allow you to appreciate the rainforest and wildlife. Enjoy cooler weather and get spectacular views of the Adaman Sea and Langkawi Island.
Two 115-meter long canopy walks (230 meters long) and stand at 15 meters at the highest point. Spacious viewing platforms are built to give visitors a spectacular view across the hills to Kedah coastline.
Tree Top Walk
A 13-meter high viewing platform offering mesmerizing panoramic views of the island including George Town. It is the highest public viewing point on Penang Island and can handle up to 120 people at a time.
Colour-Themed Floral Gardens
These are Red Garden, Butterfly Bank, Bromeliade Garden, Yellow Garden, Purple Garden, Ginger Grove and Fragrant Garden.
Attractions of The Habitat Penang Hill
The Habitat is accessible by the Funicular Train or private four-wheel drive hire that can be arranged outside the Penang Botanic Gardens.
