global Transport Knowledge Partnership (gTKP)

Launched in March 2005 in the United Kingdom (UK). An initiative to promote and disseminate sustainable transport knowledge. global Transport Knowledge Partnership (gTKP) is a platform for making effective use of the best available transport knowledge and facilitating strong participation from developing and transition countries. gTKP offers access to sector experts and best practice knowledge in seven themes in road transport - environment and climate change, finance and economics, governance, road safety, rural transport, social development and urban transport. The gTKP official website features useful links, newsletters, virtual discussions, a help desk, events calendar, knowledge archieve (care of the victim, cyclists, legislation, motorcycles, non-motorised vehicles, pedistrians, road environment, vehicle standards, vulnerable road users) and FAQs.
