Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia (JUPEM) Sabah (Seksyen Topografi Sabah)

Also known as the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (Sabah Topography Section) in English.

The Department started operation in October 1983 and was given the mandate to conduct mapping and geodetic survey works in Sabah.

The main functions of JUPEM Sabah are:
* to acquire and compile topographic data for the whole Sabah and Federal Territory of Labuan for mapping purposes;
* to acquire and compile topographic data for the whole Sabah and Federal Territory of Labuan for mapping, geodetic and scientific purposes;
* to determine, demarcate and survey the international boundaries with neighboring countries;
* to provide counter and reference for the topographic and geodetic information for Sabah and Federal Territory Labuan to Government agencies and public; and
* to provide counter and reference services on topographical and geodetic information for the whole Sabah and Federal Territory of Labuan to various government agencies and public.
