Department of Industrial Development and Research (DIDR)
Also known as the Jabatan Pembangunan Industri dan Penyelidikan in Malay. The Department of Industrial Development and Research (DIDR) was formed in 1977 by Sabah State Cabinet directive and placed under the Ministry of Industrial Development, Sabah. DIDR has been entrusted the responsibility of promoting and coordinating industrial development in Sabah. DIDR services include issuance of State Government Approval, assistance in solving project implementation problems, dissemination of information, statistics (Sabah basic facts and info).
