Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI)

Also known as the Ipoh City Council in English. Established in 1893 as the Ipoh Sanitary Board. Renamed Majlis Perbandaran Ipoh (Ipoh Municipal Council) on May 31, 1962. Ipoh was declared a city (3rd city in Malaysia) in 1988 & the Council was renamed the Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh MBI. Ipoh is under the administration of MBI & consists of Klebang, Khantan, Chemor, Chepor, Kuala Kuang, Meru, Tawas, Tasek, Ipoh Grove, Tanjung Rambutan, Kinding, Putra, Bercham, Tasek Dermawan, Jelapang, Tmn Pertama, Rishah, Gugusan Manjoi, Tembok, Tmn Cherry, Tmn Lim, Kepayang, Fair Park, Bandar Ipoh Raya, Kg. Simee, Tmn Ipoh, Tmn Canning, Perpaduan, Ulu Kinta, Tambun, Buntong, Silibin, Greentown, Pekan Lama, Medan Kidd, Cempaka, Tmn Golf, Lumba Kuda, Sg. Rokam, Ipoh Jaya, Ampang, Pekan Baru, Tebing Tinggi, Pasir Pinji, Mengelembu, Falim, Pasir Puteh, Seri Kinta, Kuala Pari, Kg. Sg. Rapat, Pengkalan Pegoh & Gate, Gunung Rapat, Rapat Setia, Tmn Song Choon, Lahat, Bkt Merah, Sengat, Rapat Jaya, Changkat Larang.
