Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI)

Also known as the Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri. MITI aims to promote and safeguard Malaysia'a interest in the International trade arena, spur the development of industrial activities and further enhance Malaysia'a economic growth. MITI's functions include planning, formulating and implementing policies on industrial development, International trade and investments including promotion of exports. MITI's agencies are Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysian Industrial Development Finance (MIDF), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) and Small and Medium Industries Development Corporation (SMIDEC). The official MITI website features online application services, trade and industry information, statistics, FTA, application procedure and work process, Halal hub, Industrial Excellence Award, download forms, Third Industrial Master Plan (IMP3) and resource center.
