Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN)

Also known as the National Institute for Public Administration in English term. An institute under the Prime Minister's Department. INTAN is the training arm of the Public Service Department (PSD), Malaysia. Established in September 1959 in Port Dickson as the Staff Training Center. The center provided training to officers on land, local government and financial administration and office management. The realization to provide formal training to government officers led to the official setting up of the Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara-INTAN in June 1972. INTAN has regional campuses in Malaysia - INTIM, INTURA, IKWAS, INTENGAH, INTAN Sabah and Sarawak.
