Biro Tatanegara (BTN)

Also known as the National Civics Bureau in English term. Established in 1974 as the Youth Research Unit under the Youth Programme of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. On October 1981, the Unit was placed under the Prime Minister's Department (JPM). On June 1982, it was renamed the Biro Tatanegara (National Civics Bureau). A national training institution that conducts nation building programmes to instill loyalty and discipline among high school students and civil students.
