Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT)

Lembaga Tabung Ankatan Tentera (LTAT) was established in August 1972 by the Tabung Angkatan Tentera Act 1973. The purposes for the establishment of the fund is to provide superannuation and other benefits for contributors, and for the ancillary purposes of promoting and socio-economic development and welfare of, and providing other benefits for, retiring and retired personnel of the regular forces of Malaysia and designated members of the volunteer forces. Serving members of the other ranks are required to contribute 10% of their monthly salary to LTAT with the government as employer contributing 15%. For officers, participation is voluntary and the contribution are a minimum of RM25 with a maximum of RM200 monthly.
