Ministry of Defence

Also known as Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia in Malay term. Established on August 31, 1957. The Ministry is responsible for the implementation of national defence policy and resources provided to the armed forces to defend the country. Agencies and departments within the Ministry are Veteran Affairs Department (JHEV), National Service Training Department (JLKN), Ex-Warrior Affairs Corporation (PERHEBAT), Malaysia Defence Industry Council (MDIC), MINDEF Library and MAF Education. The official site features defence science and technology, calendar of events, defence policy and activities, career, courses and training, quality programmes, tender, forms and source of reference.
