Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB)

Established in 1993 as a statutory body under the Ministry of Human Resources, known as the Human Resources Development Council-HRDC (Majlis Pembangunan Sumber Manusia-MPSM). HRDC was corporatised on May 16, 2001 and known as Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad-PSMB. The main objective of the PSMB is the imposition and collection of a human resources development levy from the employers for the purpose of promoting training of employees in workplace. PSMB also administers the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and acts as a one-stop agency for all government-sponsored training programmes.
