Agensi AntiDadah Kebangsaan (ADK)
Also known as the National AntiDrugs Agency (NADA) in English term. An agency under the Home Ministry (Kementerian Dalam Negeri-KDN). On February 17, 1996, the Cabinet has approved the establishment of the National Drug Agency (ADK) by merging the Anti Narcotics Task Force (Pasukan Petugas Anti Dadah-PPAD) and Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres (Bahagian Rawatan dan Pemulihan-BRPD). The main objective of the National AntiDrugs Agency is to ensure that the nation efforts to combat drugs problem will be implemented properly. The functions of the agency include establishing drug-additon treatment centres and rehabilitation programmes and implementing media and anti-drug educational programmes.
