Sarawak State Health Department

Also known as the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sarawak (JKN Sarawak) in Malay term. A federal agency under the Ministry of Health (MOH), Malaysia. The department is organised into three levels, namely, state, divisional and district level. Health services provided are delivered through a network of static and mobile facilities that provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative care. Types of Health facilities are hospitals, polyclinics, rural health centres, mobile health services, flying doctor service (introduced in 1973), village health promoter programme and home-based health records (introduced in 1970's). The official site features public information such as food safety; pharmacy legislations; public health laws; specialist and fee schedule; and hand, foot and mouth disease and career in health industry.
