Kelantan State Health Department

Also known as the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Kelantan (JKN Kelantan) in Malay term. A federal department under the Ministry of Health (MOH). Formerly known as the Kelantan State Directory of Medical and Health Services until 1993. JKNK was established to manage health programmes through strategic scheme, management and credible sources distribution, execution, monitoring and activities assessment to ascertain health services can be provided to society to achieve optimum health rate. JKNK is also responsible to plan, develop and implement individual, family and society health programmes through cooperation among government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGO) and society involvement within the framework of the government policy.
