Royal Customs Academy Malaysia (AKMAL)

Commonly known as the Akademi Kastam Diraja Malaysia (AKMAL) in Malay term. Established in August 1956 as the Federal Customs Training Centre. In 1957, the centre was renamed the Federal Customs Training School to conduct courses for customs officers and assistant superintendent of customs in 1960. On April 2, 1963, the school was conferred the training college status. Through years of research and planning process, the college expanded in 1989 and is known as the Royal Customs Academy of Malaysian.
