Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water

Commonly known as the Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air (KeTTHA) in Malay.

The Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications (MEWC) was established on March 27, 2004 replacing the Ministry of Energy, Communications and Multimedia (MECM), which was established on November 1, 1998 through a restructuring of the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunications and Posts. Renamed Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) on April 2009 due to restructuring of cabinet.

The key role of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) is to administer and manage the nation's energy, communications, postal services and water functions.
