Malaysian National Institute of Translation (ITNM)

Also known as the Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia Berhad (ITNMB) in Malay term. Established on September 14, 1993 as a limited company, wholly-owned by the Ministry of Finance while its administration is managed by the Ministry of Education. ITNMB is an official body in carrying out the works of translations, interpretations and transfer of information into various languages at national and international level. The main purpose of the establishment is to facilitate the creation of a national translation industry. ITNMB's services include translation of printed materials and audio-visual materials in various fields; intepreting; editing; training; voice over and subtitling; and support services.
