Federal Agricultural marketing Authority (FAMA)

Also known as Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persekutuan in Malay term. FAMA is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry. Established as a statutory body in 1965, under the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority Act 1965. FAMA is responsible in the supervision, regulation and improvement of the marketing of agricultural products for domestic, export and import markets.
