Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI)

Established on October 28, 1969 under an Act of Parliament. MARDI is a statutory body with the primary objective of developing and promoting new and improved appropriate technologies in agriculture. MARDI's businesses are to carry out research to generate innovative technologies and to provide consultancy and technical services to support the development of the food and agriculture industries; and to offer joint ventures and licensing arrangements for the commercialization of research results.
