Department of Veterinary Services, Malaysia (DVS)

Also known as Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan (JPH) in Malay term. The department's objectives are to prevent and control animal and zoonotic diseases, to ensure foods of animal origin are clean and fit for human consumption, to promote the growth and development of animal feeds industry and to ensure the welfare and well being of all animals.
