File Cutter Review
" Utility for spliting files into smaller parts and combining them again into their original names. "
File Cutter is an application that helps you cut files into several smaller parts for easy copying to floppies or transferring through internet.
A batch file will be created for you to combine the parts into one file with the same name as the original easily. Even without the batch file, you can combine parts by the DOS COPY command.
Users can accurately determine how large each part should be (smallest is 1 byte), or how many parts should a file be cut into (can be hundreds of parts). All size and parts information are listed before cutting - no more trial and error to fit a particular size.
Long filenames can be used, except a few characters already used by DOS command should better be avoided.
File Cutter is small in size and can run independently without any associate DLLs. It is designed to be able to run from a floppy so that you can bring along File Cutter everywhere to cut files at any computer.
