Rovio is best known as the creator of Angry Birds, the casual mobile game that became an international phenomenon and has branched out into the world of franchising to become a beloved international brand. The Angry Birds Movie was released in May 2016.
Rovio has launched several chat-topping games including Angry Birds 2, Nibblers, Plunder Pirates and Sky Punks.
In 2013, Rovio launched ToonsTV, the multi-platform mobile video-on-demand service for Rovio's own scripted series Angry Birds Toons, Piggy Tales, Stella and other third-party family entertainment. |
