The Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof) is the highest court of ordinary jurisdiction while the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) is the highest court if conflict arises in constitutional matter within a case in Germany. A German lawyer who is licensed to practise law in Germany is called 'Rechtsanwalt'. A rechtsanwalt must be registered with a mandatory regional 'Rechtsanwaltskammern'. The Rechtsanwaltskammern is the federal body that regulates the legal professional in Germany and has 28 regional offices nationwide. |
