Just check the immigration website, all you need is 2 minutes to check your identity card on the blacklist:
http://sspi2.imi.gov.my/

If it says this then you are a bankrupt:
Keputusan semakan:
Sila rujuk ke pejabat Imigresen terdekat
Status: Sah pada waktu dan tarikh semakan dibuat

If it says this then you are still not a bankrupt at the moment:
Keputusan semakan:
Tiada halangan
Status: Sah pada waktu dan tarikh semakan dibuat.

Our government takes about 2-6 months to update the immigration records, so you might get out of the country without any restriction, as soon as you come back, chances are the record has been updated, and they (immigration) will ask you to report to the nearest immigration office to cancel your passport.

For my case I have apply thru Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (JIM) so, I only can travel to Singapore for working purpose only. May be that's why I can't check my name restricted from going overseas.

Get out via Singapore. Last time when Johorean were having their blue passport, that is how they normally do if they are bankrupt.

What does 'computerized exit points' mean? Staff at there counter or we just use passport entry slot in to pass.

Last 2 days, I checked mine said 'tiada halangan'. But today show 'Sila rujuk ke imigresen terdekat'. Can I still travel? If I don't go to the Immigration, is it okay. I am afraid they take back my passport.

Please advise.
