I just had a bad moment in less than 2 hour just now, receiving a called from a Representative from K***** Partners & Co., pertaining to my unpaid amount on credit card, which the agreement of fix installment has been made with the Settlement Unit of that bank. I made the 1st installment on 25 April 2012 with the knowledge of the bank's credit and collection officer, and today the people from K***** Partners & Co called me using threatening words and send a threatening SMS using their 010 phone.

But I called the bank instead until I managed to talk with one very polite Chinese lady officer (agents work for the bank) and she did help me to get the officer from settlement department to call me back just now and promised to informed my settlement of payment has been agreed earlier with the bank prior to my first payment made on the 25 April 2012. I hope this officer is trustworthy and wish no more communication received from the debt collectors. I will update status here again if still get call or SMS from the K***** team. Really scared to hear the bad experience from people that being harassed and threatened in any form by those people.

Hope the bank will act professionally to the customer with genuine intention to pay the debts and avoid such agency in their collection issues. People learnt their lesson from bad experience.

Just don't bother answering their calls. I get calls from them almost everyday and couldn't care less! Don't worry too much. Just read through the previous forum postings here to become more familiar with these debt collectors who have absolute NO power to do anything but harass you.

Have a great weekend.

Abaikan saja debt collector itu. Janji you dah bayar and deal dengan bank. Kalau you berurusan dengan bank mean you tak berurusan dengan debt collector tu juga. Next time mereka call you just cakap you dah jumpa officer bank dan deal dengan dia. Kalau mereka nak tanya detail, you jangan cakap apa-apa pasal tu antara you sama bank saja.

I also got SMS from KPC thru 019218407*:

"We are calling from K***** Partners & Co. Call us immediately. SAFARIZAL 010-402 611* , 03-7948600*"

I did reply to both numbers stated that "Salam, what's this all about? Please don't disturb unless I'm the right person." No reply from them.

I just lodged a police report. Tomorrow I'll send a complain letter to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). They visit my house again today. I've make a deal with the bank. Really can't stand them.

Yesterday the staff from Kudrat & Co called my brother's house phone and told my brother that I had outstanding payment with bank total RM15K. For my knowledge, they can't simply told third party regarding the outstanding payment, some more is thru phone only. They didn't request verification and told third party all the particulars. They told my brother that bank can give me pay by monthly, now total outstanding RM15k, next time can't apply new loan cause blacklisted...

May I know can I sue them via Malaysia Law? What should I do now?
