My uncle received a legal letter for amount owing to Telekom Malaysia Berhad of RM404.90. They mentioned in the letter that they are going to court case and all the cost will be bear by my uncle. My uncle just wonder is the court accept such kind of small case with just RM400 ?

Thanks in advance.

It is not a legal letter, just a normal letter.
You can throw it in the waste paper basket.

Really? Why you say so? It is lawyer firm letter head, namely Stealt* Fiel* & Partners located at Ipoh, Perak.

You mean they pretend a lawyer to send us the demand letter ? Or it is impossible to be a court case due to such small amount? I really curious to know.

Stealt* Fiel* & Partners does credit management for telecommunication company, TM Malaysia, they are NOT a law firm, just pretend to be one, they are a debt collector.

They will lie about almost anything to scare you into paying them money, eg. come to your house to 'sita and lelong' your stuff, call your co-workers & boss to shame you and many other! I would rather believe pigs can fly before I believe these liars.

You have a good weekend now, Cindy!

Agreed. I received a letter from them asking me to settle debt RM2,040.00 for Telekom Bill for last 5 years back...that means in 2007.

In fact, already terminate that line in 2007 and not received any bill after that, so now I received a demand letter that FINAL REMINDER to settle the debt.

This is pretty funny! I hope the police could do something with it, they have been calling me for years, sending letters and etc. from the call 03-2600980*. Please aware of it and do not entertain them.

He threatened me by sending my name to CTOS or RAM for a small TM debts of RM200. Will CTOS act to his wish?

I used to pay RM10 per month if I have extra money. I want to test him what could do. Before that he threatened me with court action. Now he is getting more subtle by sending name to CTOS or RAM.

This man really in need of a small money.
