Hi Bert1969,

It is good to see that you are going ahead to appeal your
case in the high court in Muar, Johor.

No harm going ahead. After all, they can't make you a bankrupt.

I hope yours can be an inspiration to all of us here.

Glad to know that you are at least fixing up computers and phones
on a part-time basis to earn some money. Life has to go on!

Do you have any plan to work in the Lion City?

Hi Bert,

If you are serious about working in SG, as I mentioned before, finding suitable accomodation is not to be taken lightly, it is not as easy as in M'sia.

Even renting a small room may take several days, maybe even a week or so, this means, if you do not have a place to stay and have to put up in a hotel... hotel rates in SG is expensive, especially after converting to S$.

Also, more often than not, you will need to pay 1/2 a month commission to the property agent who got you the room, by the way, renting a room directly from an owner is far not common. I don't mean to discourage you, just to let you know you should have at least S$1k "capital" set aside for your "room renting venture" in SG.

The good news is, the SG hotel industry is very, very short of manpower, even those in their 50s could EASILY get a job in the F&B department.

Hi Bert,

We are still waiting for you to post the final draft of the Notis Rayuan.
Today is Monday 15th Aug.
Your last day to file it at Segamat is Wed 17th Aug.

If you are having second thoughts about appealing, it is ok.

I think Bert1969 may have decided not to appeal.
Normally, he will post the appeal here for us to check.
Now is almost the end of the 14-day to appeal.

Whatever decision made by Bert1969, we would respect
as we are here to help but the final choice is yours
as you know your personal situation better than us.

Anyway, do feel free to communicate here and share your
heart. We are still brothers in this forum.

You need to print 9 copies of the Notis Rayuan, file 7 copies, keep 1 copy and send 1 copy to the snake by Registered Mail.
The filing fee is RM 100.
I will bank in the filing fee to your Public Bank account today.

Hi bert,

You seem to be very busy the last few days.
After the Notis Rayuan is filed at Segamat, you need to file the Rekod Rayuan at Muar within 3 weeks.
So there is still a bit more work to be done.

If you decide not to appeal, please let us know.
We will never feel offended or anything because this has to be 100% your decision.

Good morning my friend, Notalawyer.

Thank you for your prompt reply and keen support.

True, I have been very tight up with some "unpleasant" matters during the last few days. My sincere apology for keeping you in the dark.

Okay now, so juz the 9 copies of Notis Rayuan that I need to get ready for my appeal filing. I will filed it at Segamat Magistrate Court by this afternoon.

Lastly, thanks for helping me again, time and time again (You never give up on me).
