Hi All,

good day to you.

Just got an order last week, amounting 9.1K and the buyer banked in a cheque on the THU amounting 9.6K for the order and the remaining amount was for the subsequent ones. I went to do all necessary to get all the items he ordered. Payment was then stopped by the cheque holder and I was not informed on the day this incident took place. I'd have put everything on hold if I was told. But instead, I had to find out myself on SAT and only the cheque issuer was telling me that he did stop the payment.

May I ask if I've got a strong Locus Standi for a case here? If so, does anyone know where to get a good business lawyer who'd be interested in such a small amount case?

Any feedback would be great.

The correct procedure is to talk to customer first to find out the reasons.
Rushing to find a lawyer is the biggest mistake you can make.
