Hi, I plan to set up a sendirian berhad company. May I know how I'm going to determine the authorised share capital. For an example, my business might needs EM300,000 to purchase stock, pay rental deposit, purchase fixed assets and etc. So does it means that my authorised share capital must at least RM300,000.

Thank you.

No it does not mean that.
Normally most S/B companies in Malaysia are being set up with 100k Authorised Capital.

Under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965, a company (sendirian berhad)must have a minimum authorised share capital of RM100,000 and paid up share capital of RM2/-.

The best person to ask for this information will be your company secretary.
