Promission note without stamped

Hi

I have sign with my friend a promission note for money borrow with a certain period time and he have issued me a post date cheque as well.  I need to know that if my friend refuse to pay me back on maturity date, can that promission note ( no stamped )& post date cheque issue to me effective in law and can put to court as evidence ?

Hi yoyo,

U can put it as proof in court but ur evidence is not strong enough to ensure u can claim back ur money
