I just realized today that my usual transfer from CIMB to pay my Maybank hire purchase loan got rebound. I then went to nearest branch and try to pay using cash deposit machine, also failed. Then queued up at the counter and the teller said my account is lock and they require higher approval to open the account for me to make payment.

Is this right? My payment due date is 30th October and my hire purchase account is 1 month due. So if I pay for 1 month means I still have time to pay the due.

Do you all know any contact at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) that can help? I'm trying to pay my loan not asking for another loan.

Did you ask them why it is locked?

They said my hire purchase account is 2 months due. From that 2 months due is for month of September. In records, my account is 1 month due. Already called Bank Negara. They ask me to send them an email and they'll ask Maybank directly.

Just call your auto finance and let them auto deduct the loan payment for you.
