Arahan masuk kerja awal pagi tanpa arahan bertulis.

Teman saya (Gadis) telah diarah oleh pegawai atasan untuk masuk kerja awal pagi jam 7:00 pagi tanpa arahan surat bertulis. Beliau tinggal di Selayang dengan menaiki Bas. Untuk ketempat kerja beliau mesti keluar rumah seawal pagi sekitar jam 5:30 pagi untuk menunggu Bas(Pasti persekitaran masih gelap). Pada 22 Sept 2014. sekitar jam 5:30 pagi ketika menunggu bas seeorang diri di hentian bas, seorang lelaki berbangsa India telah merangkul beliau dan mengancam beliau dengan pisau. Teman saya tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa kerana ketakutan. Beliau telah dicabul kehormatan dengan meraba dan diminta mencium lelaki tersebut sambil merakam video. Gadis tersebut juga telah disamun dengan mengambil semua barang berharga. Pertanyaan saya adakah menjadi kesalahan pihak Syarikat memberi arahan untuk datang kerja seawal jam 7 pagi tanpa arahan bertulis. Adalah syarikat bertanggungjawab keatas keselamatan pekerjanya. Bagaimana untuk membuat saman ke atas syarikat yang membuat arahan kerja awal pagi tanpa arahan bertulis. Adakah syarikat bertanggungjawab atas keselamatan pekerjanya.

Awak patut sambung pertanyaan anda kepada Labor Law.

Tukar kerja. Kerja ini tak sesuai untuk awak. Jangan susah sendiri.

1/In certain sectors women are not required/forced to work 10pm-5am.

2/Employer are responsible for the welfare and security/safety of male/female staff after they have reported into the place of work, and within the confines of the workplace.

3/Whether there is a written or verbal letter for the change of working hours is not a an issue. An "expressed" willingless to comply with the request is sufficient.

There are thousands of women in the service industries at this every day who start their journey to workplace at 5am even on sat,sun,public hol. And i am one of the male counterpart.

tak salah untuk company bagi arahan tanpa bertulis kepada pekerja,
tapi pekerja sendiri boleh membangkang untuk mengikuti apa yang diarahkan dengan alasan tiada arahan bertulis.
bukan salah company kalau pekerja terpaksa keluar awal pagi untuk ke tempat kerja kerana arahan company cumalah untuk hadir ke tempat kerja pukul 7pagi, bahaya ada di mana-mana, you should do a police report regarding this issue. this is dangerous for others if it happen again.

btw, tukar kerja yang berdekatan dengan area rumah/ cari alternatif lain selain bus/ you should send her to her workplace kalau dah tahu bahaya gadis keluar awal pagi.
