I am a non-Muslim Malaysian and my girlfriend is an American Muslim. I would like to marry her legally here in Malaysia and settle down here. Here is the thing, I do not want to convert to be a Muslim.

Question, can I marry her legally without converting? She does not have a 'Muslim' status in her identity card/passport but her name is a Muslim's name. Will this cause an issue later when I apply for spousal visa?

Can someone suggest a way?

No. That's the law of Malaysia.

She does not have a 'Muslim' status in her identity card/passport but her name is a Muslim's name
What is her Muslim name?
