Hi Friends,
I need an advice...
I have made a rent house agreement Which dated 1/10/2015
But I have paid 80% of the deposit for the house which I went through an agent.
They promised the past me the key just to wash and keep my
Belonging... But later on they refuse and say pay first...
They agent is very fussy and the land lord does not hv trust
To past the key where I only need to pay a balance of 1K,
Now I don't want the house
The agent say all my money RM3200 will be forfeited
What I need to do?
What is the actual law on this?
Who is correct on this case?
Do the agent have the right to forfeit the money even my agreement
Start on 1/10/2015?

You are advised to pay the remaining 20% and take up the rental as you promised when you signed the agreement.
Fulfil your contractual obligations, not run away from it.
