I have been patient so long since I sign my S & P agreement last year on the 18 Aug 2014.

Waiting for the buyer to get loan and finally he got his loan in March 2014 and expect all to settle by end of April but now the lawyer is saying that it will be end of June.

Bank has been harrasing asking me to pay the installment,I need to pay IWK bils and all sort of bills, may I know what is my right as a Seller?

I did a mistake by sharing the same lawyer as my buyer and the agent who served me is not much help either.

Please advise, thanks.

This is common mistake most sellers will make appointing the same lawyer which is recommended by the agent. And for them the transaction must go on at the all cost. Ask the lawyer when is the completion date as of the agreement and from that date you can determine how long the Purchaser have delayed and ask them to pay interest. This the lawyer should doit for u.

Thanks GLAW.

Just wanted to know what I can do if the Purchaser delayed signing his loan document for 2 weeks and this dragged further and I ended up paying the bank installment again because of this delay?

Please advise.
