Strata Title

I would like to check with you the procedure to claim a strata title.
The matter arise when all the tenants received invoices from the NEW service company which asked us to pay for 10 years maintenance charges. The truth is, we have paid it every month to the previous service company and yet, we still didn't received any stata title after paying completely on the housing loan.

Need you advice.

All owners of strata title should unite to form a "Management Corporation" or at least form a "Residents' Committee" to manage your own problems.

Don't let any outsiders (service companies) merely interested in making profit to control you people.

After the Management Corporation or Residents' Committee is formed, owners all of the strata title units should approach the Land and Survey Department and get all the Strata Titles "Caveated"; to prevent your units from being mortgaged to the Bank or Finance Company by the "Service Company".

All of you can ignore the new service company's demand, since you have kept all the receipts.

Just form the Management Corporation or Residents' Committee and get rid of the new or any service company. Your problems are resolved.

You should manage your own properties, NOT any OUTSIDERS.
