What will happen to properties I owned, for example house and estate, in Malaysia after I renounce my Malaysian citizenship? Can I still maintain or own the property as it is now, or do I need to update my foreign citizenship on those properties titles, or do I need to transfer them to another Malaysian name? Please help!

Is there a minimum value to the property that you own before you denounce citizenship? Because I understand from MM2H Foreigners can only own property of RM1 million and above. So it means if the property is lower than RM1 million it may be at a risk. Am I right?

Hi, any ex-Malaysian still holding on to their property after renunciation? Can the bank loan still continue as usual? I'm in the midst of buying a property in Malaysia and at the same time, I recently got my approval in principle for Singapore citizenship. I'm due to sign the SPA next month and planning to try to delay my renunciation to a later date after signing. Would there be any complication to my property in Malaysia? Thanks!
