As a holder of a Malaysian and an Aussie passport who is currently living in Australia, I was just wondering if there is a chance that the immigration officer can catch me out the next time I enter Malaysia.

I have previously traveled into Malaysia using my Aussie passport but have always maintained my Malaysian one and have never let it expire.  I will be making a trip to Malaysia soon to renew my Malaysian passport and was wondering if there is a possibility, due to my name being exactly the same on both passports, and obviously d.o.b as well, of the database matching the two documents?

I was reading some posts online about UK and US immigration, and apparently those immigration systems were able to recognise travelers who had entered the two respective countries  previously under a different citizenship. I never thought that this was possible but it did freak me out a little when I found outthat it was. Anyone in the know?  Just what shows up on their screens? Appreciate it guys.

The new biometric finger printing will catch up with you soon.
New cross checking will be in place.
