Legally change or add @ in Malaysian nric

May I know what are the requirements to change or add an alias in Malaysian nric? I am always introduced by my nickname among friends and relatives as well as my local colleagues (except for my superiors & colleagues from other regions as they only know me by my given name). My given name is extremely funny and humiliating, and I feel embarrassed  everytime they make fun of me. I notice that some of my clients' legal names have an alias. Please advise.
