My mother was born in Malaysia in the year 1951. Her father was working and held Malaysian citizenship till his death in 1984 but my mother, her siblings and grand mother returned back to India in 1953. We have lost her birth certificate but have my grandfather's passport and citizenship card, their immigration details from Malaysia coming back to India. Please let me know if my mother still has right to achieve the Malaysian Citizenship or atleast refer some status as relatives and what details would be required (such as affidavit) and supporting documents. Being her children whether we also have any right also her siblings to attain the status as my grandfather held Malaysian citizenship legally being immediate relations.
