Inheritance Rights on Late Father Belongings

My late father was first married in around year 1965 and the first wife left with another man after they were married around 8 years with 2 kids. They are not legally divorced as at that point of time my late father couldn't find her. In year 1987, my late father married my mother through a customized chinese custom wedding (without legal procedures) and have 2 children.

Last year my father passed away (in sudden) without leaving behind any wills. My late father leave behind a property (house) under my mom's and dad's name. Hence, the first wife and kids are coming back for my father's part (50%) which is really unfair as this property are fully paid by my mom and they did not contribute anything. However, they stand an advantage as the first wife is still legally married to my dad under law.

I am not very clear on the laws and act in Malaysia. Thus, I would need some law advice in order to handle this situation. Any help and advice are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
