Hi,
I would like to ask about BLI stamps,
I've been researching about BLI stamps in this website
Most people have ban period shows in their passport stamp
but mine does not have one

in 2017 I was a student in Selangor, but my visa expired for almost 2 years from late 2015 to early 2017 ( so i overstayed almost 2 years )
so i decide to go to imigration office in kuala lumpur to get "Pemutihan"
i pay RM400 then i can go back to indonesia

and now in 2022, i really miss malaysia , i would like to visit just to enjoy some nasi lemak, teh tarik, and canai

is it possible for me to enter ?
and if yes, can i just go to malaysia directly ? or do i need to go to the embassy of malaysia in my country first ?
because from my research in this website, maximum 5 years ban for overstay untill say otherwise

Thank you really appreciate it
Cheers from indonesia ✨

1.  WHERE IS THE COPY OF THE STAMP?

2.  WHERE IS THE COPY OF THE STUDENT "VISA"?

You do not Qualify for "Pemutihan" for PATI in 2017

--------------------------------------

PEMUTIHAN PATI MELALUI E-KAD

What you were accorded is a "Self Voluntary Surrender" to MY IMI.

my research in this website, maximum 5 years ban for overstay
Lawyerment Forum never stated max of 5 years.
It was me who wrote minimum of 5 years and is at the discretion of IMI to allow any re-entry after a period of 5 years.

If the period of blacklisting is stated, then it will expire on the date stated in the exit stamp. Then it is up to MY IMI to allow or disallow based on the usual minimum requirements of entry on arrival.

You self surrender to IMAN for self repatriation in 2017.

I have written the process in IMAN  7 1/2 years ago when it first start.

Ref : https://www.lawyerment.com/answers/questions/3504/voluntary-repatriation-of-indonesian-workers

Since then I had advised hundreds, if not a thousand of foreigner illegals to self surrender to MY IMI for the "Amnesty Program". I had personally driven more than 30 Indons to the Indonesian Embassy to get exit docs (SPLP).

At that time the blacklist was 2-3 years (subject to availability of essential docs). For some of them that I had send personally, many already came back to Malaysia, one even after 6 months.

For your "surrender" thru IMAN, a 5 years BLI/WM should in essence expired. The reason there is no fixed period stated is that (my personal opinion), you would be expected to return sooner by proper docs applied for while back in Indonesia. (This applies to Indons only via IMAN).

This is what IMAN is for, proper documents and re-legalization of Indon Illegals. But must go back home and then come back with proper docs. This is what JOKOWI has initiated to saved indonesian illegals to be jailed for overstaying.

For your case only
Personally I believe that there should be no issues for you to come back after the 5 years as a "Tourist".

However, when you are back, if you can find that college visa officer again, catch him and throw him into a viper nest for cheating students and scaring people. You are not the only one being scammed, there are other victims too.

my university officer got angry and ask for 3000 RM because i was late for 1 week to renew my Student Pass
This is why I call him/her a scammer.
For 1 week late renewal, sometimes the IMI Officer would ignore it and would just renew the student pass.

However, another strict officer may fine you for 7 days overstay.
The rate is RM30 per day overstay.

The RM3,000 asked is to grease his own pockets. Scammer, Cheater Basxxxx..!!

For students, once you have paid the 7 days of overstay penalty of RM210, you would still be issued a new student pass sticker. Where got RM3,000 fines?

May I ask if one of your greatgrandparents is of Chinese ethnicity? Becuz your profile name does not sound like normal indon names. No offense. Just curious.. (need not answer me..)

Another note / explanation..

they told me to pay RM 400
Correct.. the RM 400 is right amount.
The penalty is RM300 + RM100 for the special pass to exit Malaysia.

The 400 is the second "amnesty program" in 2017 and it commands a standard blacklist period of 5 years (usually stated /expressed in the BLI/WM). You have had come in on a student pass, so, i think, they expected you to appeal to continue your studies.

The first one was started by JOKOWI in 2015 which is for re-legalization of overstay workers.

The past is the past.. life goes on. You are much smarter in Immigration Issues now. Teach your fellow countrymen...
