The opposite of yin is yang.

Yin and Yang, originated from a dualist concept of Chinese traditional philosophy. Ancient Chinese literati expressed the opposite and related characteristics of things, such as heaven and earth, white and black, sun and moon, day and night, summer and winter, female and male, up and down, movement and stillness, hardness and softness, with the concept of "Yin and Yang", highlighting the abstract meaning of "mutual opposition and existence".
