Am I able to sue my parents for past physical child abuse?

I'm not sure if I have enough evidence to sue them. My bruises and scars that have faded away. The abuse happened when I was 12 and the abuser was drunk. He was punching, kicking, yelling and slapping me while my mother did nothing about it at the time.

Let's say you want RM100k as damages for the assault.
But he says he spent RM300k to bring you up, so in a way you still owe him RM200k after you win the lawsuit.
