dear cousin brother..

Please, no "thinking". Go check with your cousins on the actual issues.
Malaysian Immigration do not jail overstayer for long periods.
Who is paying for their free food and lodging?  We Malaysian Taxpayers..!!

What I do?
Do nothing.. just wait for his call from prison.
There is nothing you or anybody can do.
International flights are temporary banned for both countries.
In any event, if he is released from prison, he would be send to a detention camp pending repatriation. I would rather stay inside the prison rather than a detention camp (which has limited medical facilities).

For ordinary overstay, there is no jail term but have compound fines only.
If he has been inside jail the last 3 months, there could be something more to it.

Have you read thru the thread i have written above?

Thank you very much for your valuable replies..
And
I don't know proper English..its OK I can understand..

I have some questions about your reply..

1st he don't have passport (not in hand)
2nd his passport in Malaysia (one of his friend)
3rd he don't have any contact numbers

He is not my own brother.. One of my neighbour.. He 3 month stay at sungai buloh prison... I called from Srilanka to sungai buloh.. And they give me the body number and confirmed..

Overstay in Malaysia is just a very small issue.
Caught working inside Malaysia is a BIG issue.
Caught working inside and without his passport is BIG BIG issue.

His friend who is holding his passport can send his passport to the Sungai Buloh Prison and he can be released once his jail period is done.

What I suspect is that he has been brought into Malaysia by Human Traffickers to work and who have put fake stamps in his passport.

Only the Sri Lanka Embassy in Malaysia can help him now.

He is not my own brother
How can i get my brother details?
First you say not your brother.. Now you say get your brother details?
What is what, which is which?
Your culture's interpretation of immediate siblings amazes me..!!

Jailbirds offences are never available to the public.
Imagine a rapist conviction, after he/she have been released, there could be murder on hands by revengeful "mobs".

He was working as a security guard
After I take Malaysia boss number and call him..
See.. just as I suspected that he was brought in by Human Traffickers to work illegally. He should have been caught working that is why a 3 months jail term.

This is what will be happening to him next. So please console and tell his mother  not to worry. You can trust and believe what I am writing.

1.  The jail term have been completed.

2.  He will send to another "camp".

3.  The Boss will send his passport to the Detention camp, most probably the Bukit Jail Camp for Immigration to issue documents to go back to Sri Lanka, provided there is a flight to the country.

4.  The Boss will pay for his fines plus Air-ticket home.

5.  He will be BAN forever to work in Malaysia ever again.

6.  There will be no further punishment on him.

7.  Only his boss with his passport can talk to Immigration. Nobody else can contact him. Do not worry, he may go back to Sri Lanka anytime. Do tell his mother.

8.  Go and post in Public Media that there many fake agents cheating your own countrymen. Your very own countrymen cheating your fellow citizens like dog eat dog bones.. Expose all these cheaters /scammers publicly. Report to the Police Station to catch them.

Dear Readers,
Please take note that the above comments is for those security guards caught without working permits (PLKS /VPTE). It is not representative for "Other Services" industries. Security Guard companies are regulated by the Home Ministry
